To all Minecraft players:Is anyone still playing the battle minigame? Is it even possible to do it in the first place?

as far as im aware u can join a friends world but thats it i dont think minigames will be supported due to it being exploitable and they cant pull a new leaf on it
So that means I can't play in public mode?
