Im having issues with GiveMiiYoutube because it fails to connect and it only works in the browser where I can't use the buttons past sign in. No config ether, so IDK what's wrong. Can you help?

"fails to connect"? before i got it, yt told me that "this software cannot be used, because online services are no longer available." when i got givemiiyoutube, i started it on my nnid user. didn't work, so i used my pnid user. worked like a charm.
if it's a connectivity issue, is it a problem with your internet? is it on? if it is on, do you have a recent version of yt? i've heard tell that it doesn't work on the old version. what exactly is the error?(meaning what does the error notification say)
