You can make a new Switch user and play the demo again, just don't give your Mii clothes when they ask. You might notice the one wanting clothes will stay inside, but you can drag them out and force em to interact.

sadly, that is intended to happen cuz its a demo, but when the game comes out, you can continue from where you left off in the demo, so theres that i guess
