Just found out after about two months of owning this Wii U that one of the (five?) speakers on the GamePad has been completely broken the whole time. Is there a way to fix it, or do I just cut my losses and buy a new GamePad? Really disappointed in my local retro game shop rn.

They're generally very good with cleaning and testing. I'm incredibly disappointed. It's not a large chain either — they have all of two locations; one in my town and one in the next town over.
Get some replacement speakers and follow the guide on iFixit.
Does the speaker replacement require soldering?
