just got a 'new' 2ds xl (upgrading from old 3ds) anyone has any ideas i should do

i have one too -- best things to do are buy a hardback case (super durable, just make sure to clean once in a while), get screen protectors (self explanitory), and get an extendable stylus (SO helpful ESPECIALLY with how short the slot is).
yep an extendable stylus is great. A pair of regular earphones is nice as well.
