I had already finished WW on GC many years ago (2010, I believe), but this time I gave it all I got and 100ed it! It was a ton of fun, but there is one really bad design choice I would have never expected from Nintendo, even if it only concerns completionists (TBC in replies...)
Post
The Tingle statues. Man... I knew they existed, but the game doesn't tell you anything! Not even a single hint! The only thing it does is teasing you with 5 pedestals. Without the original Tingle Tuner you won't know neither where they hide nor the item used to reveal them!
And the problem doesn't end here: they are in their original locations, but at least 1 of them is really criptic, therefore requires a lot of time and patience. Also, this sidequest is mandatory if you want to collect every figurine because 1 character is locked behind it.
Of course, you can watch one quick video on YT to know instantly what and where to search for, but this shouldn't be the case. Maybe they did so to further highlight the Tingle bottle as the only way to share this info with new players, but this is not good design...
Anyway, I'll use it to scatter some hints about this secret because it seems nobody did; at least in recent times. End of the rant, sorry for the long post lol
THANK YOU I WOULD HAVE NEVER FOUND THE BOMB PART, THANK YOU
