HELP! I just installed the dlc for botw, but the majora's mask chest still isn't spawning. Any solutions?

Is the game updated? Might need the update(s) installed.
The dlc only applies to the new games, not to save that has already been started

This has nothing to do with your save file. You just need to finish the great plateau, then the DLC Missions will be unlocked.
