one of my friend has a 3ds and i told him to mod it but he doesn't think its worth it whos gonna tell him cause he thinks it will get bricked

Tell him to go on 3ds.hacks.guide Q and A. Its impossible to brick it unless on purpose.
If my dumb self can do it anyone can lol, especially with the guides online.
