anyone know why europe got a slightly different version of swapnote called swapdoodle? the europe one has an ingame store for different colour pens.

Swapdoodle isn't EU only, it's a Swapnote successor/sequel; IIRC there were major issues with Swapnote allowing the use of photographs as backgrounds
kids got exploited on swapnote so they had to kill it
