just get a 1TB sdcard. I'm using that in my 3DS

I migrated my 1TB HDD to my 512GB MicroSD I got used for 25$. I didn't use more than 300GB on the HDD. I split the rest to vWii with the SDUSB plugin. My Wii U also runs on Type C with a 45W USB-C PD brick and a type c to wii u plug cable, and USB charger for Gamepad.

I have a same question, but can use micro sd card for download games in the wii u or only can use HDD and flash drives?

A 256 gigabyte SD card with the SDUSB plugin with 171 gigs i think
