Warioware Gold, Steamworld Dig 1&2, and the Mario and Luigi games are all pretty great! I recommend looking for more ds games than 3ds though because for every good 3ds game there are 4 for the ds.

What I meant was look for both 3ds and DS games, speaking from experience though I've noticed a lot higher quantity of good games on the DS. The 3ds is ofc the home of many bangers too. They're still many games worth playing.
