guys is this game worth it? im a HUGE fan of the first 3 games but heard this one was different

I would say yes. There is a ton of stats, menus and mission types but you will get comfortable with it, and the story is worthit imo.
Combat is quite familiar, but everthing surrounding it is substantially different. Lack of proper tutorials is really hurting me right now lol, but it doesnt take away the enjoyment! Story structure is similar to 3, where side quest stories are important.
As soon as you get access to Overdrive, LEARN HOW TO USE IT! It's got a bit of a learning curve, but it will make the game way more fun.
The game is a bit slower to start than other entries with some learning curve mechanics but it's absolutely a worthy title among XC1, 2, & 3.
