Brawl is better than Sm4sh, and Melee is the best of all

Ultimate has the most content and smoothest controls. I like sm4sh the best tho bc of its colorful aesthetic and relaxed vibes. The slow controls made it the perfect casual party game imo!

I find myself enjoying Sm4sh more, Ultimate feels much more slippery imho

Brawl's Single content can never be topped and is the best in my eyes, but lacks balancing. Melee is the most complex, but as a game on it's own, it lacks any other reason to go back to it. Sm4sh... feels lifeless, no substance, and has a DLC problem. 64 is fun and very balanced!

and Ultimate is the latest game and the series' bestseller, but made some bad decisions people weren't happy with, and then the devs just left the game in it's Steve meta based glory...

Smash 4 is just obsolete. 3DS is nostalgic and still has novelty, but theres no point in going back to the Wii U version. Probably the last Smash game I'd return to, personally. Extra modes weren't it on Wii U, either. Good times back then but no replay value imo.

Melee is fun to watch, but I'd much rather play Brawl. 64 is wholesome fun with friends, but Ultimate is the most fun. Smash 4 is just not brought up in the conversation anymore. That's my take.

i honestly agree with the OP, the only way I can describe ultimate is that it does indeed run at 60fps, but it FEELS Like its 30fps. the choppy movement and 0-100 acceleration in momentum doesnt help much either as well as it over-assisting inputs to where it gets in the way
