Just cleaned parts of my gamepad with soap and water like a lunatic without dissassembling it, too much of a wuss to do the whole thing, for that I would dissassemble but I hope it's not as hellish as a 3DS. Anyway my secret is alcohol and a hair dryer, makes the water evaporate.
