ive always liked the n3ds c stick better for mh games
If you have a "new" 3ds model with a C slider, you can use that by enabling it in the settings. Otherwuse move the touchscreen D pad to the upper right of the touch screen.
i mean i just kinda spammed the l button and that works too lol
