im no expert but i have quite some time in the wiiu modding scene, i was really nervous at first cause i also used to think i could brick it or something, but luckily the community is pretty nice. ill keep writing in another comment cause i ran out of letters :p

but as i was saying, my advice is just that dont mess around with stuff you dont understand enough, like with the nand or internal memory, also take your time with stuff, dont do stuff in a rush. Something also very important is to keep somewhere a backup of your saves

and lastly, have fun exploring all the modding aspects of the wiiu, like hacking the vwii or exploring homebrew apps or now plugins. cause that way you'll understand on your own what to and not to do and it will stay in your head. and happy birthday too btw!
