so far for a difficult platformer this is the most fair and intuitively designed of the genre without any bs that I've ever played. imagine that, a donkey kong game on my top 10 list.

Can't relate unfortunately. I always have to take breaks to avoid ragequitting lol. One difficult game I do personally think is truly fair though, would be Cuphead. That's a great experience. I guess it varies from person to person, though.

tbf, the DKC trops and the SNES DKC trilogy is home to the best platformers on their respective consoles.
