no it wasnt, the games japan title is Sonic World Adventure and we also have a very early logo for the game with the same title (look it up if you dont believe me)
and Heroes... and 06... but all 3 games strayed too far from the Adventure formula halfway through their development (except 06, which came out halfway through its development)
well it wasnt called "sonic world adventure" in japan for nothing!
