Yes you need a Wii U !!There are lots of good games and frankly it's the one I played all my childhood on.

it depends. if you really like wii u features and its good games that later came to the switch, then you should definetly get one, it does has better home menu than switch!!

It's worth it in my opinion, the limited selection of specific games may be a concern, but I promise there are several games worth playing
