This is a screenshot of this Palutena reveal trailer. This part Palutena being faster than Sonic was such a big deal in Miiverse back in 2014. I was a Sonic fanboy back then as a kid. Ngl, this made me mad as a kid, but now when I see this, I see nostalgia of the old Miiverse.

sonic has the fastest running speed in smash so they either made sonic slow, or paulentena faster (pardon my spelling)
Yeah, Sonic is literally the fastest character in the game by fact. But yeah, you know, all these trailers had these "Smash Bros. humor" that Nintendo always make. They always do that to make the cutscenes funny.
