and if you get/have a switch, breath of the wild on there instead. also pokemon sword/shield & pokemon legends: arceus are good starting points

If Wii U, i can't recommend Wind Waker HD enough. Yeah it's a Gamecube game but the HD Visuals and quality of life improvements really help out an already amazing adventure game.

I recommend Mario Maker if you want to be creative tbh. for the 3DS maybe Tomodachi Life.
