Any developers here that could turn the beta build of devilutionX (Diablo 1 source port) into an official build? it's definitely playable already but the main contributors lack the actual Wii U hardware

Can I get a rundown of what issues it currently has?
it is actually pretty playable already. frame rate could be higher at higher resolutions. I tested it mostly on the gamepad and there it is "perfectly" fine. Sometimes, after closing the game, the console is in a loop not returning to the Wii U menu. That is essentially it.
checked the test builds that I got from the developers via discord (or compiled myself) roughly one year ago (devilutionX v1.4.0): At 540p resolution, the game is running at stable 20 fps. unfortunately, the developers are not familiar with the wii u architecture...
That seems really low. I'd have to check out the source code, but I bet it's not using the GPU at all if the frame rate is that low. Add me on Discord if you wanna talk more about this. My discord grazhero.
