i use the wii u pro controller and wiimote
gamepad, because of the motion controls. i can't survive without them. also, i refuse to play splatoon 2 or 3 without the joy-cons for the same reason.
i find the wii u gamepad a bit cumbersome but gyro aim is great (in all 3 games)
