this makes it sound more maliciously intended than it was. the dude's just not mentally stable. he obviously deserves flack for his wrongs but clearly he felt he was at a rock bottom and needed help first and foremost
autistic trans woman here: when i meltdown (rare) i do and say really stupid things because i literally cant think. when i shutdown (more common) i get myself in shitty situations because i literally cant speak. i need a hand in those moments not a grave
i think his intentions are unclear but lean towards attention seeking. his former posts had rather problematic themes to them
well yes, they were problematic posts because he was mid-crashout trying to get banned by the mods. then a separate situation happened and it spiraled into what it became. it's Dumb and Idiotic and he should take accountability for what he said but it's not like it was consistent
when he wasn't doomposting he was talking about romance and his favorite candy. and besides, even if he was doing it "for attention", he's still mentally ill in some way to think to do that. he still needs and deserves help
and i do expect i too will get Some flack for "defending him" if i don't explain so: i am very specifically trying to point out this is a mental health struggle more than anything else. and this post kinda feels to me like it's attacking someone while they're down :/
Making people concerned by saying it's your doomsday because you think minorities are picking on you is not a coping mechanism nor something anyone should take seriously. He just wanted attention. He needs help and it's up to him to get it.
I don't think threatening to kill yourself should ever not be taken seriously... but I do agree nothing that he said was a good way of coping :P And yes, it's up to him to get the help he needs. I hope he does
You're a kind person but all this was, was someone wanting to get banned but didn't get banned quick enough so they made everyone go on a frenzy about their well-being. Juxt is not a place to be taken seriously nor is it therapy. He knew that.
