I heard theres some sorta custom splatfest thing seperate to pretendo coming. Does anyone know what its called and if you can use your pretendo splatoon data on it so you don't lose progress and vice versa? Thanks.

the custom splatfest server is called splatfestival, but to find it you need to go to spfn.cc. YOU CANNOT USE YOUR REGULAR SAVE!. as of writing this there are no active splatfests, so no online play.
