Aaron's survival log: Day 1 (check comments)
Post
After many, many years of playing java edition, today i decided to take a trip down memory lane and visit the old console version of minecraft. Haven't played this version since my old 360 kicked the bucket 7-ish years ago, but i thought it'd be nice to get a fresh breath of-
-nostalgia. Booting up the game, i was met with that wonderful old minecraft soundtrack. Needless to say, the memories came flooding back hard. But youre not here to listen to me ramble about my memories so ill get right to the survival part
50% of the first in-game day consisted of me contemplating if i should use the Ellis skin or the Gordon Freeman skin, but eventually i chose neither (sorry valve). the other 50% consisted of building a crude shack of planks and dirt because i didnt realize how long i spent on my-
-skin contemplation. Alas, i was able to find a nice spot on a hill where i got a nice view of the nearby jungle, mountains, and forests. By the time night struck i was completely out of wood, so i used a single dirt block as an improv door. Not my finest moment but sometimes-
-you gotta start rough, but at least i got a cool view of a wolf outside. The second in-game day consisted of (slightly) improving my crustbucket of a shack, adding torches, a bed, a furnace, and an actual functioning door. It could definitely use some improvement though, im not-
-sure that dirt ceilings are really OSHA compliant. Other than that its some wonderful, humble beginnings. Overall experience today was pretty disorienting since its been almost a decade since i played the console edition, but still, it was a great nostalgia trip, i may or may-
-not do more logs, but it all depends how much free time i have and if people are willing to listen to me yap. For now though, this marks the end of my yapping session. Thank you for reading and i hope it was at least slightly bearable -Aaron, signing out
P.S. i would've added a photo but i have no idea how
great work writing this!
