Are there any homebrew applications/plugins that overclock the wii u's CPU. I'd like to use it to get better performance in BOTW

Unfortunately no. The fix is buy the $450 paperweight and use the Switch 2 edition of the game on that.
@shane- hell no. would rather buy a steam deck for that
@ethan2024 but you can overclock Switch 1
@shane- this is true, however i'd rather not try to hunt down a v1 switch for a reasonable price. Plus you get a lot more versitility with a steam deck
