it drains ur battery rly fast, and its rly slow
It might not be a perfect replacement, but Classicube does run pretty well on my 3DS XL
you can play minecraft on old 3ds/3dsXL look at efimandreev0's github and you will see minecraft on 3ds! download the the first one (i forgot) and the .rar file extract the .rar put it on CIA or whatever then download it via FBI then voila!
