Does anyone know how to fix broken friend list? I keep trying to accept friend requests but it only gives me 'now ??? is your friend' and the requests are still there

Its been doing the same thing with me. Just power on/off your wii after accepting it. Super inconvenient.
what i do is i go to my miiverse after friending someone and fully check if they are my friend
