So, my 3DS wouldn't turn on, FOR 18 DAYS. but it suddenly started working perfectly fine today... can someone explain why this happened?

Why would Nintendo make the switch online service cost money when the WiiU and 3DS had it for free. I went to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on my switch and had to pay so... back to the WiiU again. ik im yapping but yeah.
