how can anyone be a concept artist?

hi im new to pretendo!

Just spent these last two hours drawing Sonic! I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time I draw him since 2019 when I was 13. And ngl, as someone who doesn't draw and just started today, I expected it to be a lot worse!
