Why does the new tomodachi life kinda remind me of animal crossing

The 3DS 3D feature is underrated tbh. I hear a lot of people never using the feature or straight up disliking it. I think it's very neat and makes 3DS games really immersive! Plus, the pencils floating around activity log looks so cool!
