I have a theory: retro studios are the co-devs of mk7, and they also developped dkc returns. A track in the game is Wario's shipyard. Wario was planned to be the villain of the 1st dkc. dkc's final level is gang plank galleon. Wario's shipyard is part of the dk lore. GAME THEORY!
