Hi i just got minecraft for wii u, and i would love to play online with others, how do i join a server and which ones should i join?

Hello, this is my first post, i just modded my wii U, and everything is going great, exept i worry that it may brick at any time and i wont be able to recover it or sell it on to someone else. is this something i should worry about?
