How does Beedle so conveniently appear around the same island I'm at? Does he just have a Link-tracker on his ship?

This game really is the multiplayer goat, its a shame how it can't really be ported :(

The fact this game is a decade old now is insane. I'm glad to have played this game on the Nintendo servers.
