Tried to play ACNL online via Tortimer Island, but it's just empty with the occasional Japanese person randomly joining then immediately leaving again? Weird. But I'm probably trying to play at the wrong time of day

Anyone know if Luigi's Mansion 2 works on Pretendo? Gonna go into thrill towers and see but I'm not sure if it needs added support to work first I also just finished the game.. it got so difficult like wth
