Legends Arceus was the last good game in the franchise. The last good mainline was Gen 7 though I like Scorbunny and Horizons (Liko is a far more interesting protagonist than Ash sorry not sorry). I really think the quality of the games has gone downhill.

legends arceus is only the second newest game... you say they went downhill but then praise the second newest game, this doesn't make any sense.
