This was peak Wii U Minecraft. This is the May 2016 version of the game. It was right when the Mario mash-up was released, but just before the mini-games were added.

Am I the only one that thinks the Nether is genuinely unplayable in this version? I can't go 5 seconds without getting bombed by a ghast. I have to tunnel everywhere just to get by.

Here's another screenshot with bedrock fog. The second skeleton off in the distance is barely noticeable. Really makes it feel like a horror game.

Dude, caves look horrifying with bedrock fog turned on! I don't understand why Mojang removed this feature in later updates; it really adds to the game's atmosphere!

Took me an eternity to get it going, but I was able to get the 2015 launch build of the game up and running!

Has anyone gotten error codes 118-0502/118-0562 when trying to connect to a multiplayer world? If so, what did you do to fix it?

Are the minigames still active with Pretendo? Which ones do you guys play? I remember playing battle all the time back in 2016!
